Join Tiffany in a fun OOTD (outfit of the day:) below and both of us as we head up to the mountains for a blogger luncheon...

Getting to know you!  We love the youtube community and have been blogging for such a long time, but never got to know many bloggers.  So this is our start--we headed off to the mountains to meet some new friends :)

This was a wonderful event put on by momitforward at the beautiful Log Haven Restaurant--and they totally outdid themselves! :)

The food was wonderful (with a beautiful array of brightly colored veggies - yay!).

They also had babysitting (happiness for Tiffany & all of the other mommy bloggers :)

And the seminar was very informative (sponsored by Vicks) and we got some cool swag,

including behind the ear thermometers, a mommy book, humidity reader & more!

Tiffany went home and did an outfit of the day of her cute outfit, so here it is.... 

And here are a few of the pictures we took on our fun trek to Log Haven....

I woke up with a bladder infection this morning oww-iee owiee ow-iee :( 

But as I was mixing up my magical potion that I swear by, I thought I should at least share.  I'm not a doctor, but this smoothie has been great when I've felt a bladder infection coming on - and it's super yummy too!

We've all heard that cranberries are great to add to the diet when dealing with bladder infections and they are, but did you realize that blueberries can be too?  And pineapple and Vitamin C.  So this recipe has it all, and is absolutely delicious too!

The Smoothie Bladder Infections hate

BERRY SMOOTHIE

1 cup water

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple pieces

1 cup dark leafy greens

1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1 tablespoon flaxseed oil

1 tablespoon freshly ground chia seeds

1 teaspoon ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)

If you use fresh fruit, add 1/2 cup of ice

Place all ingredients together in blender, mix and serve.

Here's the other thing I like to do--take pure lavendar oil or cinnamon oil (diluted 1:4 with coconut oil or jajoba oil) and rub it on the stomach a few times a day.  If the oil is safe to be ingested (depends on the brand) you can also take one drop in liquid a few times a day as well.

These are just my opinions, though, so of course check with a doctor right away if you have a bladder infection that's lasted more than two days.

But bladder infection or not, this smoothie is delicous and super loaded with nutrients and a great addition to any day!
